All the "Why would he cheat? That's terrible game design!" comments are missing a few things: - Inscryption is a rogueLITE. You don't have everything available right at the start. You've gotta lose a few times to experience the rest of the mechanics, and if you get too far without losing once the game will ensure you lose, for your own good. - This won't usually happen on your first playthrough, unless you're a really quick learner. It only happens if you're getting close to winning on your first or second run. - Inscryption is a story game first and foremost. The card game part just happens to be pretty good too. And to progress the story, you need to lose a few times. This bear thing doesn't happen in the gameplay-focused post-story challenge mode unless you specifically enable it as an extra challenge. Anyway, Inscryption is one of the best games I've ever played, so please give it a chance.

I had a buddy that had Uroburos and he got it up to 40 damage with a sacrifice cycle because Uroburos had undying. He then lost shortly after and then got the 40 damage Uroburos plus a multi lane rune. He had an 80 damage 40 health deathcard… He did not lose again…

I managed to beat Leshy on my very first run. It wouldn't have been possible without the 2 scissors and 2 Adders I snagged, along with an upgraded wolf with 6 power and 7 health. Most of my other cards were just to stall until I played the wolf. The final boss was the only part I nearly failed because my wolf was turned into gold, and I had to rely on much weaker cards, but I still barely managed to sneak a win using the Adders.

He doesn’t like it if you win at all, as I found out trying to beat this battle by setting up my deck just to beat these cards

When I first player Inscryption i beat the prospector and had the chance of mantes god uriuly and geck i was like we have two very strong good cards then we have geck i choose geck

My first death card had the cost of a Geck, the stats of a Wolf and the sigils of a Cat.

So from what i heard, heres the thing, they dont eat the cards unless you keep losing the game early like 2-3 times and leshy lets you use the fire multiple times at the actual risk of losing a card

Ringworm is actually op, if it gets eaten by people at camfire, those same people wont be there anymore so you can max your cards out
